The Board of Directors of Brahim’s Holdings Berhad (“the Board”) wishes to announce that the Company has on 11 December 2019, received a notice in writing pursuant to Section 281 of the Companies Act, 2016 from Messrs PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT dated 28 November 2019 on their resignation as Auditors of the Company and Group with immediate effect. Messrs PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT who has been the Auditors of the Company were re-appointed as the Auditors of the Company at the last Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company held on 4 May 2019 to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company. The resignation of Messrs PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT is on voluntary basis. Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company. The Company has identified Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT as the new auditors of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2019. The Company has on 12 December 2019 received the consent letter from Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT dated 11 December 2019 to act as the auditors of the Company. Hence, Messrs Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng PLT has been appointed as the Auditors of the Company. This announcement is dated 12 December 2019. |
