We refer to the previous monthly announcements in relation to BHB’s default in payment in its banking facilities. The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that the Company had received a letter from OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad (“OCBC”), serving a put option notice in relation to the Term Financing-I Ijarah Muntahiah bi Ai-Tamlik (Term-i) (“Put Option Notice”). Pursuant to the Put Option Notice, the Company is required to settle an amount owing to OCBC of RM79,256,276.71 together with late payment charges. Save as the above, there are no material developments on the status of default in payment at the date of this announcement. This announcement is dated 5 May 2022. |
