GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT: TERMINATION OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (“MOU”) BETWEEN TAMADAM AND NETZ TOYOTA KYOTO CO. LTD. (“NETZ TOYOTA KYOTO”) (30 December 2009)
We refer to the announcements made on 10 June 2009, 10 September 2009, 14 December 2009 and 28 December 2009. The Board of Directors of Tamadam wishes to further announce that Tamadam has agreed to mutually terminate the MOU entered between Tamadam and Netz Toyota Kyoto because the parties could not agree on the terms and conditions of the joint venture arrangement.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT: LICENSE AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BY CAFÉ BARBERA (SEA) SDN BHD, A WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF TAMADAM BONDED WAREHOUSE BERHAD (“TAMADAM” or “THE COMPANY”) WITH CAFÉ BARBERA FRANCHISE FZE (28 December 2009)
The Board of Directors of Tamadam is pleased to announce that Café Barbera (SEA) Sdn Bhd (“licensee”), a wholly-owned subsidiary company of Tamadam, has entered into a License Agreement with Café Barbera Franchise, FZE (“licensor”); to be given the right to use the trademarks of “Cafe Barbera” and such other logos, insignia, labels, trademarks and trade names in connection with the establishments and operations of the cafes in Malaysia, via a contract dated 28 December 2009 and any supplemental agreements executed thereof. The exclusive rights shall be valid for a period of ten (10) years commencing from the effective date agreed with the licensor. The Board is of the opinion that the ownership of the trademark establishment of Café Barbera is expected to contribute positively to Tamadam’s future earnings.
